This project was created for a branding class I took at SVA. The main assignment was to rebrand either ICP, Brooklyn Botanical Garden or El Museo Del Barrio. Since I have always been attracted to photography, I chose ICP.
ICP Animated Logo
The logo represents a time sequence which I thought was very relevant to this museum since photography is a tool allowing visual representation/collection of events through time.
ICP Business Cards
Once the logos were finalized, we had to move to creating the business cards for the museum.
ICP Brochure Spread
We also had to work on a brochure spread. This is when you can start pushing the brand identity to the next level. The logo is the base and give you the primary elements/guideline to extend the brand to all collaterals. I played a lot with vertical lines using different thickness.
We also had to design a poster. I used Sally Mann photography as placeholder images since I absolutely lover her work and felt it would render well with the contrast of the brand color palette.
