This project was created for a core graphic design class I took as part of a certificate program at The New School, Parsons School of Design. The main assignment was to rebrand an institution, organization or school we were interested in. I chose NMAI as I am attracted to the topic which I found fascinating and felt like their current branding needed a refresh. With such a rich topic, there was endless graphic possibilities. We had to deliver a logo, stationary, business cards, posters and a website. I chose a logo that makes sense for the museum but also does not discriminate any of the tribes. You can see the final result below.

NMAI Poster Serie

NMAI Poster Serie

As part of the project, we needed to come up with a poster series. I focused mine on the Aztec warefare and the warriors of that time: the Coyotls, the Jaguars and the Eagles. I made the illustrations myself and kept the branding triangle idea across the posters.

NMAI Homepage Desktop View

This is the homepage of the site on desktop. I kept all major categories expected to be found on a museum site and divided the homepage into modules to feature the exhibitions with an option to promote upcoming exhibitions. Each module would link to the exhibition landing page for more information.
